Very challenging puzzles. Not for the beginner. The smaller puzzles take some time, and the larger puzzles quite a bit of time to solve.

Nice and challengingJan 31, 2010

Having discovered Ken Ken puzzles a couple of years ago, I'm hooked. I'm not a beginner, so it's nice to have lots of challenging puzzles that keep my brain working overtime.

"Ferocious" - good name!Jun 28, 2010

I'm still working my way through this book; I'm on the 7x7s, and some of those have required starting over. So I expect the 8x8s and 9x9s to be very difficult, and very enjoyable.

If you're good at kenken, you will find that these are definitely not "ferocious". Many of them can be done just about as fast as you can write down the numbers. There were only a handful that had me stumped for any length of time. But good puzzles, nonetheless.

Whoa, I've been able to solve .... three.Apr 18, 2011
By Debbie Eidelman
So far I've solved #s 1, 5, and 7. I consider myself advance. I can do 9X9 and I try not to use hints when solving, even with 9s, and depending on the puzzle I can keep the numbers straight without hints. I've been playing KenKen for about two years now. This book is going to last a while. Just know going in that it's going to be HARD. They meant the Ferocious part. This is going to be challenging even for advanced players.
