5frist time orderingMay 01, 2014
By Linda
this was the first time ordering books on line with amazon, and would do it again, all the books I ordered (14 total) were in great condition, very little wear and tear,(had looked for cheep books with "good" condition ratings) and all came with in the shipping times allotted. would suggest to others when ordering large numbers of items be sure to get them from the same company to ensure taking advantage of the free S/H for orders over 30 dollars. thanks happy reading!

5A wonderful book.Feb 04, 2011

This is but one of a series of books that giv an intersting history of quilts through the story of the people involved in the quilts. A fun and facinating book for quilters.

I have fallen head over heals for the Elm Creek Quilters. Bought the first book, this one, on a whim because I was attempting my first quilt. Since then I have purchased the complete series and I am finishing the last book! My mom has come for a visit and she is en joying this book and I plan on passing them all on to her to read but she has to promise to return them for me to reread sometime!

I love history and these books combine history, womens stories and quilting all in 3 books. An excellent writer and good story teller.

5Jennifer Chiaverini quilting booksMay 30, 2013
By Anne Hagopian
I read the first book, The Quilter's Apprentice, and want to read the entire series
I have started purchasing the following books, but plan to wait until I get
the next in the series...I puchased a later book, in error, rather than book two.
That book is now on it's way. When I find an author I like, I prefer
to read the books in order
